*Superman is Dead is an Indonesian punk rock band from Kuta, Bali. They are one of the most successful punk rock bands in Indonesia. Currently signed with Sony-BMG, they are the only remaining punk rock band signed with such major music label while other bands, for example Rocket Rockers, Shaggy Dog, & Endang Soekamti have failed to survive in Indonesian major music scene. The band was formed in 1995 by Boby Kool, Eka Rock, Jrx (pronounced jrinks), the same members until present. SID actually stumbled together drawn by their common love of Green Day and NOFX. The three are of Balinese origin.
